Knitting, needlepoint, quilting and other home projects; like the Princess Alicia in Charles Dickens' "The Magic Fishbone", I've been "snipping, stitching, cutting, and contriving".

A New Sign for the Farmers' Market Garden
In honour of our upcoming day celebrating pollinators at my local farmers' market, I got out the dollar-store paints again, sanded down a few bits of leftover wood and made this sign to promote milkweed awareness in our children's teaching garden. You can't quite see it, but there are little floating tufts of painted milkweed fluff floating across the image.
